Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread

Creamy Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes! Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free.

  • 26 red potatoes, medium 2-3″
  • 5 cups water
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 3 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 Tbsp garlic powder
  • fresh basil leaves (optional)
  • salt/pepper to taste


  1. Cut the red potatoes into quarters and place in a large pot.

  2. Add the water (or enough water to cover the potatoes) and bring to a boil.

  3. Cover and continue boiling for 20 minutes (or until soft).

  4. Remove from heat and let cool for about 5 minutes.

  5. Mash the red potatoes and add the butter, milk, and garlic powder.

  6. Top with basil (optional) and enjoy!
